Joshua Weiss, the CEO of TeliApp, thinks smartphones and computers are going to undergo major advancements in the future. “They will ultimately be consolidated into one small handheld device no bigger than a smartphone,” he says, “but the display will be built into glasses and contact lenses to enable a completely new era of augmented reality.”

Weiss also predicts that large digital billboards will be replaced with floating augmented reality billboards. 

If you were wondering what could possibly replace a keyboard, Weiss says it will be a device similar in size to a watch, which will allow you to input data using hand gestures.
