Our approach

Workflow tailored to your agency.

We believe that an entity's workflow and lifecycle methodology must be special and unique to their specific needs. Government led management teams must be able to continuously simplify workflow and spark the creative process so that the very best can be given to their constituents.

Any entity that functions on technology should always be aware of the latest communication, design and development methods to achieve this. Balancing ideological convictions with real life practicalities calls for actionable intelligence, based on factual on-the-ground data and its resulting analytics.

Technology Upgrade Evaluations

Our relationship with local, state and federal government agencies usually starts with a technology upgrade evaluation. Having an experienced outside firm perform an unbiased evaluation enables key decision makers to learn new information through a different lens. The notion that an entity should only consider migration at or near the end of its present system's life cycle, thereby getting the most out of current resources and postponing the costs and the issues of migration until absolutely necessary is a fallacy. We believe that smart strategy includes migrating before being forced to, as a result of, for example, a ransomware attack or a catastrophic system failure resulting from unforeseen circumstances. Entities generally find that the faster they migrate, the faster they grow.

Cloud Migrations

Cloud migrations are more than simply data storage and cloud-based email infrastructure. On the contrary, they include a master plan that encompasses the nuances and complexities of wired and wireless network speed and stability, data syncing, data backup and searching, computer and smartphone hardware, network and data security, virtualization, video and chat communications, succession planning, file digitization, inventory management, task management, compliance, training, and more.

Understanding technology roles & their differences.

A plain-language guide we wrote for agency leadership to demystify the difference between Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT and Information Security — and why a serious technology program needs all four. Each role is mapped to a familiar analogy (maintenance crew, armed guards, concierge, safety inspectors) so non-technical stakeholders can make informed staffing, vendor and budget decisions.
